Daniel R. Weinfeld is a graduate of Harvard College and
NYU School of Law. He is the author of
The Jackson County War: Reconstruction and Resistance in
Post-Civil War Florida (Univ. of Alabama 2012) and editor of

T. Thomas Fortune’s ‘After War Times: An African
American Childhood in Reconstruction-Era Florida (Univ. of Alabama 2014).
