Join Tony and Grammy Award- nominated playwright, poet, and lyricist Reg E. Gaines as he explores places where spoken word and traditional drama meet. Gaines has created a musical play that he is now pursuing to perform on Broadway. This Broadway-themed event will include excerpts from new Reg E. Gaines play, The 88, and a discussion of what it takes to get a production to the Broadway stage. 

Reg E. Gaines is joined at this event by renowned playwright and filmmaker Richard Wesley, who will add his insights from a full and storied career as a writer for stage and screen.
