Phil Cooper Tour USL July 8, 2016 USL StoriesThe year is flying past and May is nearly upon us. It’s looking like a really busy time for me, and May is bookended by two very different gigs, both things I’ve never done before. Firstly, on 7th May, I’ve been asked to perform I Don’t Have a Voice (and another brand new song) at the Demo For Democracy outside Westminster. It really is an honour to have been asked to play at this demonstration, on the anniversary of the most disproportionate general election in UK history. Remind yourself of the song here – the video now uses the album recording rather than my rushed demo, which was used before. Please share it around as much as you can on Facebook, Twitter etc since I lost about 3,000 views when I switched to the new recording and it’d be great to get them back!On a different note, I said May starts and ends with two things I’ve not done before and on 30th May I’ll be doing a very special show at the Old Theatre Royal, Bath as part of the Bath Fringe Festival. I’ll be sending out the details of that really soon, but it’s going to be half spoken word, half live music and very different from anything I’ve done up to now, so keep the date free.As well as those two gigs I’ve got a whole load of live shows, as listed below. It’d be great to see you at any of them, so please come and say “Hi”.Thanks for your ongoing support, PhilThings I’ll Never Say is available on iTunes,Amazon, Spotify or, for something you can hold you can get the CD.Tour DatesWed 20 Apr – The Blue Lagoon, Bristol Thu 28 Apr – Waterfront Bar & Bistro, Pewsey Sun 1 May – On The Waterfront, Exeter Sat 7 May – Demo For Democracy, Westminster Sun 8 May – The Thorn Tree, Ripley Mon 9 May – Apotheca Bar, Manchester Tue 10 May – The Golden Cross, Coventry Sat 14 May – The Barge, Honey Street, Pewsey Thu 19 May – Marlborough Arms, Cirencester Sat 21 May – The Stonehenge, Durrington Fri 27 May – Uplands Tavern, Swansea Mon 30 May – The Old Theatre Royal, BathView more gig datesFacebookTwitterWebsiteInstagramYouTubeLeave a Reply Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
