There are several positions available for the 1st and 2nd shifts. Responsibilities: The following responsibilities are typical of what this position may be required to perform, however they are not all inclusive. •Read manufacturing and engineering instructions for plating and preparing materials in racks for plating. •Maintain plating line to ensure proper plating results. •Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems. •Maintain equipment according to manufacturing and engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools. •Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning equipment, using hand tools. •Test plated material for conformance to specified plating thicknesses. •Record data on testing results to assist engineers. •Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts. •Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment. •Provide user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrade and enhancement. •Performs other duties as required by business needs.
