Ayasha Jamila Roberson was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduating college in 2007, Ayasha moved to central New Jersey and began her career in the mental health field.

In 2010, acting on a creative vision, Ayasha established Urban SociaLites, LLC (USL) an entertainment online magazine that included fashion and lifestyle blogs as well as online shows such as New Music NJ, Jerz Life TV and Jerz Hot Spots. USL became the go-to website where New Jersey residents could find the hottest local music, food, and nightlife.

Always tapping into her entrepreneurial spirit, Ayasha expanded her company’s portfolio by offering services such as logo and website design, PR, marketing, and content creation to clients featured on her website.

In 2015, Ayasha expanded the USL brand’s to include an online indie radio station, Indie Live Music Radio (ILMR). ILMR streams today’s hottest emerging indie artist from across the globe. ILMR is a platform for indie artist to have quality exposure and representation whether they are striving to break into mainstream music or expand into broader markets.

Just 6 years after launching her vision of an online magazine, Ayasha has grown Urban SociaLites, LLC into a full-service entertainment digital marketing firm that helps brands grow by fostering innovative strategies through a variety of services such as, public relations, social media marketing, content creation, video production, talent representation, and image consulting. It is Ayasha’s hands-on management style and commitment to excellence have been central to the success of USL.

A true philanthropist with a generous heart, Ayasha was featured in In Jersey Magazine showcasing her dedication to her community and giving back to the people of Monmouth County with programs such as USL Honors, Girl Talk, IMPACT NJ, and Helping USL.

Ayasha currently resides in Northern Jersey and an active member of Bethany Baptist Church in Newark. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in dance from Stockton University where she was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. In 2012 she received her Master of Administrative Science with a concentration in Organizational Development from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In the rare event she is not working, Ayasha enjoys taking jazz, hip-hop, and ballet dance classes.
