NMNJ Artist of the Week: Leftist

Described by those who listen as Hip-Hop, Alternative, Rock and Soul wrapped up in one, the group Leftist consists of the diverse talents of Nurideen Bashir, Mouhamad Diabate, Mahir Maruf, Mark Hatcher and Ebadullah Ebi Ebadi.

The “U.N. of Hip-Hop” was formed in 2009 and draws inspiration from the likes of The Roots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nas and Stevie Wonder.
